I am reviewing a few shades from Wet n Wild’s Catsuit Megalast liquid lipstick range. I have already reviewed these shades – Coral Corruption, Berry Recognize, Flame of the Game, Rebel Rose. I am going to review the shade “Give Me Mocha” in this range.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Give Me Mocha MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick:
We all know liquid lipsticks have been quite a rage for over a year now. Many drugstore brands are coming up with their own version of affordable liquid lipsticks. Wet n Wild has 13 matte shades under their catsuit range.
Packaging: The packaging is a clear tube with writing in black says ‘Megalast Liquid Catsuit’. We can see the actual colour of the lipstick through the tube. The bottom of the tube specifies the name “Give Me Mocha.” The tube has a black cap. The applicator is a doe foot with a small dip which helps to get more product of the brush. Overall, the package is sturdy and travel friendly. The packaging is similar to Jeffrey Star liquid lipstick.
Texture and Application: The texture of this liquid lipstick is liquidy and thin. The doe-foot applicator makes it easy to fill in the corners of the lips with ease. They have a mild chemical scent which doesn’t bother me. The lipstick dries down to a complete matte finish within a minute. The lipstick does not bleed or budge once it dries. One important point that I would like to highlight is that before applying the lipstick please exfoliate your lips else the lipstick when set might look crumbly.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The lipstick is super pigmented and super opaque. It gives a full coverage even if the lips are pigmented. One swipe is all it takes to get the maximum pigmentation.
Shade and Finish: The shade “Give Me Mocha” is a beautiful n*de brown shade which is very trendy this season. This shade will suit all skin tones. Since the liquid lipstick has a matte finish, the lipstick does settle into the fine lines of the lips.
Staying Power: The staying power is good with this lipstick. It stays on for around 6 hours without the need to reapply. It does fade away from centre of the lips after an oily meal but I can easily reapply the lipstick. The lipstick can be easily removed with an oil based makeup remover. Overall, I am really happy with the colour pay off and the staying power.
