Packaging
Garnier Vitamin C Serum comes in a glass bottle and is provided with a dropper. The dropper really helps in controlling the amount of the product that we use and it also prevents cross-contamination between our finger and the bottle thereby keeping the serum free from bacteria at all times. However, I feel that the serum should have been packaged in an opaque or amber coloured bottle rather than a clear glass bottle as vitamin C is unstable and light-sensitive. So, make sure to keep this bottle in a dark, cool space to avoid its contact with sunlight.
Usage Directions
- Clean your face.
- Drop a pea-sized amount of serum and spread it between your palms.
- Dab the serum evenly on your face and neck.
- Follow up with a moisturiser.
My Experience With Garnier Vitamin C Serum
The serum appears milky and is a little thicker than water consistency. It has an amazing, refreshing citrusy fragrance which is quite mild. Moreover, the fragrance doesn’t stay for long so, it will not be bothering for sensitive noses.
I am using this serum twice a day for the past few days as per the usage directions and I am really happy with the results. The serum is light-weight, gets absorbed easily and quickly into the skin. It has a non-oily formula and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue so, even oily and combination skin types can also use this serum. You can also use this serum under your makeup easily. However, make sure to pair it up with a good sunscreen while using it during day time.
The serum has really helped in reducing the dullness of my skin thereby making it look bright and glowy. It has also helped in improving my skin texture. The skin now looks much softer and smoother. It has also helped in reducing my acne marks. As far as the reduction of dark spots is concerned, I cannot comment on that as fortunately, I don’t have such issues.
