When I wrote the review about Peripera’s Peri’s Cushion Lips last week, I talked about how drying it was and how it didn’t work out for me. This, on the other hand, is a complete opposite.
After my first experience with Peripera’s lip products, I didn’t really want to get another one, but when I looked at the shades of Lumi Pang, I just couldn’t control myself and pick one up. Plus on the pictures it looks quite juicy, so why not get one at least for the sake of a review?
Packaging
To be honest, I love the colour of the box. It’s just… I don’t know, I got into this colour lately. It represents the shade that you order (I got shade CR02 Sorry mam).
The lipstick itself has pretty simple design. Although I’m not a big fan of the different shades. If the cap matched with the stripe below and the name, it would have looked much better.
The applicator is pretty classical, as with other tints. It’s slightly tilted forward so it’s easier to get in between your lips.
Texture
The texture is amazing. It’s not drying at all, thankfully. It’s moisturizing but it’s not that extreme. The finish is semi matte if you have it as gradient, it gets from a lip gloss like texture to creamy one) and glossy if you have it on your full lips. However, it is not sticky.
Colour and swatches
The colour is kind of funky. When you look at the packaging and the applicator, it has this vibrant orangish coral colour. When you swatch it on your arm, it has the same colour. But when you put it on your lips, it’s a complete different shade! Like not complete but it is definitely different.
Swatches
First one is in direct sunlight, the other one in indirect sunlight.
In indirect sunlight/shadow (my room) on my lips. Natural, gradient, full and the tint that it leaves.
I never edit any of my swatches, I only add the logo. But as you can see, on my lips it turns out way more pink. Like I believe it’s because of the different lighting (the swatches on my arm are different day than on my lips). And in real person it looks different as well. When I’m outside, it still is more of a pink than orange. This is really interesting, tho it’s not a problem for me since the shade is still really beautiful.
Overall review
For me, this is so far my favourite lipstick I own. It’s such a beautiful colour and I think it compliments me. The texture is perfect for my liking.
I highly recommend this. However, if you’re going to buy it for yourself, make sure you take in mind the colours since they may vary a lot from the official pictures.
