Kerosene Krash feminised seeds grow report
Kerosene Krash is a very special feminised seed which combines genetics from parent strains Gorilla Glue #4 and Sherbet. These indica genetics don’t stretch much, meaning she is suited to long periods of veg growth in order to deliver the best yields. The two best features of Kerosene Krash are the extremely high THC levels which can exceed 20% (when grown in optimum conditions), and the intense fuel aroma.
Kerosene Krash is easy to grow. You may be able to find heavier yielding indica strains, but you will find it difficult to find a more potent one! Kerosene Krash seeds may not be the most affordable feminised seeds, but if you are looking to grow the very finest and strongest cannabis it’s one of our top recommendations.

Important remarks
Kerosene Krash seeds germination
Seed germination was rather fast, within 3 – 3.5 days the seeds all germinated and formed decent size root tips. Some of them were already shedding their shell and showing their first leaves. All in all, very quick development.
Kerosene Krash vegetative phase (18/6 light)
Out of the 7 seeds that germinated 1 miraculously died during the first week. It might have been damaged during transplanting or it’s root hairs dried out. Or perhaps it was simply a plant that didn’t want to grow. During veg growth, all the ladies expressed a more hybrid leaf structure. Nice dark green foliage and pretty tight spacing.
They were pre–grown under LED for a good 4 weeks in 0.25L pots. After that of the 6 plants, the strongest 4 were transplanted into the 25L Autopot XL pots. They stayed in vegetative growth for about another 3.5 weeks before the clock was switched to 12/12.
The plants seemed to grow a little more slowly than usually, it might have been that they couldn’t handle the LED light levels of the 4x ‘F Spectrum +’ (500 W total) used after 1 week of 18/6 in the Autopot system. That’s why after a few days we reduced it to 2 lights again (250w). The plants seemed to recover well afterwards. A tip could be to be careful during vegetative with high light levels because this strain doesn’t seem to respond well to it.
Out of the 4 best plants 2 were more compact and 2 showed a bit more stretch. The biggest 2 were supercropped. Both plants seem to react well to this growing technique.
Kerosene Krash bloom/flowering period (12/12 light)
Kerosene Krash doesn’t stretch much during flowering so it is better to plan ahead. During the first 2 weeks there is some stretch but definitely not a lot. After about 2.5-3 weeks of 12/12, stretching has come to a complete standstill.
Resin development starts very early. Within 2 weeks the first trichomes start to appear on the leaves and early flowers. Within 3 weeks the resin development is already fully on it’s way and most of the sugar leaves are covered in resin. After 5 weeks the leaves and buds are completely soaked in trichomes, even the larger leafs get a nice coating. After 6 weeks of 12/12 the buds start to get some real mass and the first orange pistils appear.
One week later she is fully loaded and covered in sparkling crystals.
At this point the buds have become very compact and covered in orange pistils, she is getting ready. Some might think that this is the time to cut her but we recommend to start flushing the plant after 7 full weeks of 12/12 (day 50). This way the plants can ripen even further and become rock-hard. Both bud weight and trichome density are increased significantly during the final 1.5-2 weeks.
Kerosene Krash harvest report
Final height: Most plants were about 60-80 cm in size, very compact plants. The biggest 2 were supercropped so they could have been a bit higher.
Calyx-leaf ratio (Easy trim/yes or no): Yes, the strain was quite easy to trim, the calyx-to-leaf ratio was pretty good. Most of the leaves could be picked by hand and the sugar leaves were also completely covered in resin.
Quality (Resin/Smell/Compactness): Extremely potent look, dominant kush aroma with a fruity twist (citrus). One phenotype had a more acid and sweet aroma, a bit like gummyballs. One thing they shared in common is that they are all very pungent! Compact flowers with a classic OG look.
Yield: Total yield was 278g of dry buds. The 2 biggest plants were phenotype #3 (80g) and pheno #2 (79 g). The smallest pheno was #1 (47g) and pheno #4 (72 g). Quite homogenous and consistent yields. Not the highest yields, but Kerosene Krash is all about the quality.
Remarks after curing: Drying was done in an environment with a steady 52-55% LV (humidity) for about 10 days. #1 had that pungent OG Kush aroma, #2 was a bit less pungent, #3 the most fruity kush and #4 again that classic OG scent. The buds are very pungent, they can stink like hell. One small plastic bag is definitely not enough to keep the smell at bay!

Unique observations and tips for growing Kerosene Krash seeds
Kerosene Krash is a fast flowering Indica dominant powerhouse. A real stinker. We would recommend to give her a longer VEG period than normal because she will not stretch a lot during flowering. It seems she handles growing techniques like supercropping quite well, so besides growing her the natural way like we did, she can also be interesting in a SCROG setup. During this natural grow the buds/branches didn’t bend down a lot so we think she will excel in a SOG as well. Her stretch is easy to manage so that could make her interesting for a SOG too.
Growing her is pretty straightforward. The best tip we can give is to make sure you have new carbon filters in your grow room because she has a very powerful and pungent aroma. Her flowers get covered in sticky resin and they will become quite compact, not fluffy at all. She has a great bag appeal.
This beautiful visual appearance combined with that pungent aroma and taste is what makes this strain so interesting. Definitely an A-grade strain for connoisseurs!
