These days, when the weather is cooling down and the party season is in the air, I am soooooo loving to wear creamy lipsticks in all sorts of shades. Some of you know of my liking for shimmery lipsticks and glosses, so I’m finding this a very pleasant change from that. Also, after my extreme love for the colour pink, my next best choice these days are corals and oranges. Hence, I would like to introduce to you MAC lipstick Vegas Volt.
MAC describes this shade as “full power coral” in amplified crème finish. I would like to add to that and say that this looks like a ‘pastel orange with a slight neon touch’. By the way, MAC lipstick Morange is a loud-mouth in-your-face orange and I think that Vegas Volt is a toned-down, muted version of the shade Morange. It is a rich, crème formula with absolutely no shimmer or frost, yet it gives a beautiful glossy look to the lips, leaving them looking smooth and feeling comfortable.
As with all MAC lipsticks, it comes in a classy black tube with silver inner-half of the tube having the MAC logo printed on it, and packed in a classic black and white printed cardboard packing. And, of course, there’s that distinct vanilla fragrance that all their lipsticks have.
I usually wear this lipstick as an accessory, with minimal eye makeup, maybe just black eyeliner on the upper and lower lash lines, lots of lengthening mascara, and a very light touch of an apricot or peach-toned blush. I love teaming this with a full black outfit and I let the lipstick do the talking!

PROS OF MAC LIPSTICK VEGAS VOLT
• In my opinion, it’s a lovely bright shade that lights up the face immediately. • Is super-creamy and smooth. • Gives a full coverage finish and has good pigmentation. • Gives a glossy shine. • Feels really comfortable and doesn’t dry out the lips at all. • Fades evenly. • Lasts upto over 4 or 5 hours on lips. • Doesn’t bleed. • Doesn’t settle into fine lines of the lips nor does it accentuate them.
CONS OF MAC LIPSTICK VEGAS VOLT
• This kind of shade depends totally on your likes or dislikes.
(I couldn’t think of any other cons.)

Would I buy this again? Definitely. (Am so loving crème finishes and bright colours these days!)
