Hello all,
Today’s review will be on a honey mask from Missha, which is a well-known Korean brand. Let’s see how it fared for me!
Price: 1 USD. The price varies a lot for these sheet masks.
Product Description:
My Experience with Missha Honey Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask:
The packaging is very sleek and easy to travel with. The details on how to use this mask and what it does etc. is printed at the back. The mask is a thin cotton sheet which is white in colour. It is fully drenched in liquid serum. The serum is slightly thick and sticky. It isn’t soaking wet, but has a good amount of moisture to it. The mask is quite big hence I have to make slits for it to fit well on face.
Honey is known for its soothing and moisturizing properties. This mask has had a calming effect on my skin. I used this mask after letting it chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes, so this felt amazing on my skin. This mask does what it claims. It does help in calming and cooling my skin. It also made my skin feel relaxed. It adds a nice bounce to the skin and makes it soft and radiant.
I have been using these masks because I feel they are very relaxing and the easiest way to pamper your skin.
The way I use these sheet masks – I wash my face with a face wash and then use a mask for 30 minutes or until it is semi dry. Then, I take it off and pat the excess serum on my skin and let it be for another 15 minutes and then I wash my face with plain water, no face wash. Then, I’ll apply my night cream and doze off to sleep. Sometimes, I’ll use a toner before using the mask or aloe vera gel. I always keep sheet masks in deep freezer for at least 15 minutes before applying because there’s nothing better than a cool mask after a tiring day of work and travel. These masks give temporary results but that’s okay because I like using masks often any way.
This mask had a pleasant fragrance that didn’t linger for long. It sat comfortably and didn’t irritate my skin. It did not break me out. My skin felt instantly refreshed and moisturized. I’ve been using these masks regularly since a long time and I feel it has helped with the dryness.
